Hand forged functional art
Client:
Sam’s original work, crafted off the potters wheel, is designed to be a piece of ‘functional art’ that is to be used in a restaurant setting or at home. It is designed to be admired aesthetically, and constructed to withstand the rigours of usage. This project was delivered for emd:digital.
My Role:
1. Web Design, Development, Animation for SG Potter 2. Logo for Off Grid Studio (secondary business venture)
Context:
A website to launch Sam's breakaway personal brand from the family business, to tell his story and highlight the essence of his work and inspiration.
Execution:
An intimate and succinct one pager site that tells a story, taking you inside Sam Gordon's studio. Additionally, a logo for his secondary business venture 'Off Grid Studio' that speaks to the hand forged, organic nature of his work.
